Friday Favorites

Friday, March 6, 2020

Hey Everyone! I hope your week has gone great. Today I'm linking up with Narci, Andrea, and Erika for Friday Favorites.

Before I jump into this week's favorites, I thought I would share something I ran across on Instagram that made me laugh so hard.

I'm not sure what your weather has been like, but East Tennessee has been insane. I left the house this morning wearing a light jacket with an umbrella, by lunch I had dumped the jacket and it was gorgeous, and by the time softball practice rolled around it felt like snow. It is insane!!

Also we are sending prayers to all that were effected by the EF 3 and EF4 tornadoes experienced this week in Central Tennessee. We have several friends that were effected, and it has just been devastating. Sending lots and lots of prayers!

Now lets take a look at all our Friday Favorites!!

First up my favorite Ninja Warrior! Colt completed his Ninja Warrior Mission test this past week. He moved from a white belt (headband?) to a yellow belt!! We are so proud of him. He is enjoying Ninja Warrior so much.

Next is my favorite little softball player. Logan's softball season has started. We are so excited to watch her play and grow as a player! This week was the first practices, but there is nothing like being back at the ball field! (Maybe ask me that again in a few months. haha!) We are a major softball family and live for the ball field. I'm so excited to watch her play. We have missed Skylar playing so much.

This guy right here is one of my favorites! After working all day and helping me wrangle kids and dinner, he still took time to work on a project he promised me at 11 pm. He's installing a kitty door I have been begging for all week. More on that project later once i'm sure its going to work how I planned. 🤞🤞🤞BONUS: He cleaned up the entire mess. He's a keeper ladies!

It's hard to tell, but another favorite this week is the lighting I added under our cabinets. I've been wanting under cabinet lighting for a long time. When I built our house over 12 years ago, before i even met Eric, under cabinet lighting wasn't a thing. I've been researching for over a year, but everything I find requires lots of wiring and cutting the cabinets. I ran across these peel and stick ones on Amazon. They were so easy to install. I had them installed in less than 10 minutes. I ordered another set for the other side of the kitchen.

Our new favorite water bottles. Eric works with a husband and wife who both use these. We have been trying to up our water intake, and he commented on how cool their bottles were. They were so sweet and surprised Eric the other day with us each one. It has a strainer where you can infuse fruit into your water along with a time count down to keep you on track. They are AMAZING!!

Until Next Time...

  1. I always love a new water bottle. The weather in Georgia has been the same but we have had so much rain that soccer was canceled all week.

    1. New water bottles always encourage me to drink more water! I was really shocked we didn't have softball canceled. All the rain in Tennessee has caused us major flooding. We've missed several school days due to flooding. I hope you all have a beautiful weekend in Georgia!
