Hey Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. I know we sure did! It was very busy, but all FUN!! I'm taking today off work, and i'm hoping while you are reading this, I am laying by the pool catching up from the weekend.

We had the best weekend with lots of family time, birthday parties, and fun times with old and new friends.

I am about to over load you with photos, but it was too hard to narrow down which ones to share. I hope you enjoy.

Friday started with another amazing walk during lunch around Downtown Knoxville.

I'm really enjoying all this walking, plus i'm getting in so many steps.

After work, I ran a few errands and started getting everything together for mine and Logan's Nashville trip Saturday morning.

First step was to clean both car seats. Who else's kids' seats get this nasty? How does this happen? Ugh! I try to clean them every so often, but I typically forget. My father in law won't put them in his vehicle until he cleans them. haha

Saturday morning we were up bright and early to go to Nashville (about 3 1/2 hour drive) to visit the American Girl Doll store for her best friend's birthday. We were so excited. We've been looking forward to this trip for a few months, and we were worried it would be canceled due to COVID.

First, we had to drop Colt off with Eric at his work. He works 6:30-12:00 on Saturdays. They were going to have a father-son day as soon as Eric got off work.

Colt had a blast. Eric kept sending me pictures of him working.

Eric said he kept asking if they had anymore boxes to stack. He loved stocking the shelves. haha

I received this picture at 12:30 once the shop had closed for the day. Little man was worn out. 😂

While all this was going on, Logan and I loaded up with her best friend, her mom, and older sister for a girls trip to Nashville.

All the cities are starting to open back up, but it was interesting to experience all the towns along the trip and the stages they were in. We stopped for lunch in Lebanon, TN, and did not realize their restaurants were still to go only. We had a Chick Fil A picnic in the parking lot.

Thankfully the weather was in our favor.

We arrived at The American Girl store in time to shop before the party began. The store in general was really cool. I never knew they had so many dolls and accessories.

We ended up with Blair, her accessory pack, a tuxedo cat (because it looks just like our Callie), and a matching PJ set for Logan and Blair.

Then it was time for the most precious party!

The dolls had their own chairs at the party, along with their own place setting.

We did decorate your own cupcakes, and played lots of games.

 Blair had her own cupcake.

The most precious gift bags with an AG apron, whisk, and cupcake.

While playing games, the dolls hair their hair braided in waterfall braids.

Blair's new style.

Happy Birthday, Lucy!

Then cake and ice cream was served. Is this not precious??

Back home and ready for bed!!

Sunday was another full day, and we were so excited.

Our church opened their doors for the first time this weekend since the COVID. We still opted for online due to all the distancing restrictions.

Pastor Chris was ready in his "Welcome Home" shirt. I'm hoping if we don't attend in person next weekend, it will be the following weekend.

Sunday afternoon we went another birthday party. My best friend since high school, Amy, had scheduled her youngest's son's birthday party back in April, but it was cancelled due to COVID. Well, now it was her other son's birthday so she did a joint party for the boys.

It was at The Little Ponderosa Zoo about 30 minutes from our house.  It is a nonprofit exotic animal rescue and zoo located in Clinton, TN. They have everything from birds, reptiles, cows, goats, sheep, deer, foxes, wolves, ponies, turtles, and most importantly Carl the Camel (who became Eric's new best friend!)

I promise we aren't feeling all the animals ice cream. We scooped feed into the ice cream cones so they could eat the food and cones.

Logan feeding the Kangaroo.

Eric's new best friend, Carl. I cried laughing so hard over the pictures we got while trying to take a family pictures with Carl. Thankfully they are were live pictures. Made them even more funny! I said i'm already looking forward to our Christmas card this year. 😂

This sweet baby goat walked right through the fence, and just made himself at home hanging out with everyone.

Carl found Eric again on the back end of the loop.

The craw through fox house for kids.

One the way home, we stopped for drinks. I tried this flavored Smart Water. This flavor is cucumber lime, and it was very refreshing. It's definitely something that you need to try!

Well, I am officially exhausted. I hope everyone had a great weekend. Did you do anything fun?

Until Next Time...
