What's Up Wednesday | 2.24.21

 Hey Everyone!!

Today I’m linking up with Shay and Sheaffer for What’s Up Wednesday.

Grab some coffee, sit back and enjoy.

1 – WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK:

We are playing this one by ear. Momma finally started back to the gym this week…again. So, until I have time to meal plan for next week, it’s either eat out or something quick.

2 – WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT:

We’ve been doing a lot of reminiscing at our house the past couple of months. Skylar has been in town since before Christmas, and we have enjoyed reliving memories of her and the twins growing up.

3 – WHAT I’M LOVING:

The Tula face line. I was very skeptical at first, but I feel like my day isn’t complete unless I have gone through my skin care route for the night.

The eye stick is my favorite!!

4 – WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO:

Running carpool. With three kids, I feel like all I did was zig zag all over town Saturday. I literally passed the same place at least four times.

5 – WHAT I’M DREADING:

Logan had her first overnight sleep over with someone who wasn’t family this past weekend. The twins are finally at that age to start having friends stay the night or over at the friend’s house. This weekend gave me an idea of what my life is going to be like while I juggle multiple kids with plans with friends on top of sports. YIKES!

6 – WHAT I’M WORKING ON:

Being healthier – going to the gym, drinking water, eating better.

Now I’m setting goals, and trying to wake up a lot earlier in the mornings. *Spoiler* I cannot wake up early. We may have woke up at 7:00 this morning, and have to leave by 7:20 to make it to school by 8. 😴

7 – WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT:

My next tattoo. Eekkk! I have the location, and the quote. I’m just nervous about the perfect font. I want it to be very dainty. DAFonts.com has too many to choose from.

8 – WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING:

Hoarders – Oh My Word!! I just can’t look away.

We just finished this season’s Southern Charm. I’m obsessed! Eric claims to not like it, but then I get “Where is Cameron?” “Where is Naomi?” “I thought Austin and Madison were dating.” For someone who doesn’t “like” the show, he sure knows all the cast and their drama.

I’m currently reading a book that is very disappointing given the author, however, here are a few books I’ve read recently that I have really enjoyed.

*Note Pushing You Away is a duet. The second book will not be released until next month*

9 – WHAT I’M LISTENING TO:

This Hometown Guy’s Double Album!!

It is so good, and has so much East Tennessee in it. I’m obsessed.

I can't even begin to name my favorites. They are ALL great.

10 – WHAT I’M WEARING:

Sweaters, leggings, Uggs, tee shirts, shorts, workout clothes… Mother Nature cannot make up her mind what season it is in East TN.

I sent this picture to Eric on Saturday to show him I was wearing my tennis shoes he claims I never wear.

This is my favorite shirt of all time. It's not the best picture, but I love how it's cut open in the back.

11 – WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND:

I’m planning on taking my first weekend class at the gym on Saturday morning. Eric has to work, like every Saturday morning, and I think Skylar has plans with friends. The twins are just along for the ride.

My cousin’s drop by baby shower is this Sunday. I always love seeing them. 😊

12 – WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH:

A Million Little Things to come back!! The four episodes so far this season has not been enough… at all.

Spring Break and warm weather. I’ve decided I want to make it a point to get outside more. I feel like our entire family could use a lot more porch time, play time, and vitamin D.

13 – WHAT ELSE IS NEW:

Nothing really new. I'm struggling a little with technology. I've always considered myself a computer nerd, but I'm struggling with my MacBook and space. I feel like it has all of a sudden started running low. I'm waiting to learn more about how to use my external hard drive. I even looked into Google Drive. I've had my Mac for a few years now, but i've never had time to really sit down and get comfortable using it.

I'm accepting ALL suggestions!!

Until Next Time...

  1. I love Tula! Their exfoliators and toner are my favorites. And your wardrobe sounds a lot like mine these days, haha!

    1. I think I’m going to try their masks next. My skin is so sensitive, and I was shocked by how great my skin has reacted to the products. 😊

  2. I've been trying to focus on getting more exercise lately too and wow, does it interfere with things like cooking supper and doing laundry! Hahaha!!!

    1. I cannot agree more! I finally got asked by the kids why I had stopped going to the gym. I told them until we worked as a team at home, I guess I was getting my workout by doing laundry and dishes. Hahaha!
